Company Planning to Expand Customer Care Team to Make Vacations Dreams Come True
MILWAUKEE, September 15, 2009 – This year marks the 35th anniversary of Milwaukee-based The Mark Travel Corporation (TMTC). The company makes vacation dreams come true with a comprehensive and positive End-To-End customer experience through its 19 vacation brands, including Funjet Vacations, Southwest Vacations and United Vacations. La Macchia Enterprises (LME), which owns TMTC, currently employs more than 650 Customer Care, marketing, technology and finance professionals in Wisconsin, including their Milwaukee headquarters. TMTC has been headquartered in Milwaukee since it's inception in 1974 and is a member of many local organizations including the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, Visit Milwaukee, Spirit of Milwaukee, Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.
TMTC is experiencing growth across their vacation brands and expects this trend to continue into 2010. A struggling economy has effected how people choose to spend their discretionary income; however, consumers are very aware of the incredible vacation values currently available. TMTC is planning to expand their team by adding 50 part-time Customer Care Specialists who will be responsible for handling phone calls from consumers and travel agents for Southwest Vacations.
